What's in a name? Digital layout...

Have you visited The Daily Digi site yet? The site is only one month old, but already has proven to be a fun, encouraging place, and a wealth of information for Digital Scrappers. Recently Janet Phillips offered a free template and a challenge to scrap about the meaning of a name. I had been meaning to do this for along time, but hadn't got to it. But, today I took the challenge and finished the following layout.

Thanks to Janet Phillips for Template 2 from The Daily Digi, also thanks to Pineapple Plantation Designs for the kit "Vintage Valentine". And of course, thank you to my cat Boo Boo, who has made my world a happier place.

A freebie for SunDay...

The Sun has been shining for the last 2 days here in North Central Washington. It has been awhile since we've seen it so it is very nice to have it shine! Here is another quick page I've made. I've left a lot of room on the one side for adding journaling.

Another Quick page...

I have Quick page #2 for you today. I use many commercial use elements from talented designers to make up my digital kits. I love using frames from Pam Lefors, glitter from Flergs, and styles and actions from Atomic cupcake. Other times I like to try and design something from scratch. I'm still learning how to use my Photoshop elements program. While playing around I was able to design the large "hat pin" that is pinned to the 2 felt hearts. I like how it turned out!

Happy New Year and a finished Scrapbook page...

A quick post to start off the year. Since January 1, I've been following the blog "The Daily Digi". It is a wonderful one-stop site for all your Digital needs! It has great information, inspiration, and jump-starts for your digital creativeness. Yesterday, Janet Phillips offered a free template and the encouragement to scrap a page of "What you are lovin' right now". Here is my layout:

Right now, I am enjoying my finished December Daily 2008 photo journal, using all of my digital scrap goodies, my cat, Boo Boo, and finally the gorgeous winter weather in Washington State.
